The tank, made of ultra-strong Delrin resin, offers excellent resistance to extreme conditions and meets or exceeds the requirements of international safety standards. While no lighter can be 100% child-proof, rest assured this one is child-resistant, which means that more than 85% of children under 51 months cannot operate it. All BIC EZ ReachTM lighters sold in Europe are manufactured in Spain, in our own BIC factory, where they undergo rigorous checks and examinations.
