Because individual silk threads have inherent strength (a single silk fibre is stronger than an equal thickness of steel) and bind easily together, it makes silk fabric very durable. We recommend washing this silk product on a delicate cycle, using a specialist silk detergent and washing inside out in a laundry bag. We also recommend not to use fabric softener, to keep away from direct sunlight and to lightly press on the reverse with a cool iron.
