Preparation and Usage
It's important to clean a wound before applying a plaster. Cleaning a wound minimises the risk of infection and encourages the healing process.
Applying a plaster without cleaning a wound will trap dirt and bacteria under the skin which could lead to infection.
Follow these steps when cleaning a wound:
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly
Using the Paw patrol wipe, gently dab or wipe the skin with it don't use antiseptic as this may damage the skin
Gently pat the area dry using a clean towel or pad of tissues, but nothing fluffy such as a cotton wool ball strands of material can get stuck to the wound
Apply a Paw Patrol plaster to get the patient back on their feet and ready for play!
