Crème de Cassis de Dijon is the classic traditional blackcurrant liqueur. This liqueur was created specially for Sainsbury's by a multi-award-winning producer in Dijon, to a recipe based on whole blackcurrants that includes blackcurrant buds and a touch of raspberry. The nose is literally jam-packed with fresh, ripe blackcurrant. Marvellously concentrated, a small dash - as little as 10ml or 20ml - in a wine glass or champagne flute, topped up with dry white wine, still or sparkling, creates a refreshing and moreish aperitif. The flavourings used in this product are sourced from natural sources. Serving suggestion: Add one part crème de cassis into a champagne flute, then top with Champagne to make a Cassis Royale.
