Retaining elements of the traditional with the Roman dial and decorative hands, the Gainsborough can also be used more practically as an alarm clock with its minute marker track and alarm function.

Following the tradition of the carriage clock being designed for travel, the Gainsborough displays a polished metal handle atop the bevelled case.
