Regional information: The birthplace of rosé, for a reason. With mineral rich soils, 300 days of sun a year and the cooling Mistral winds, the Provence offers the ideal growing conditions for Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes, the classic blend used to make AIX Rosé. Maison Saint Aix is one of the largest domaines in the AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation. At 420m above sea level, it's also one of the highest. And thanks to that elevation, we enjoy cooler nights and a greater Mistral effect, drying the vines on dewy mornings - making the fruit even better.
Tasting notes: The wine has an aromatic bouquet with notes of fresh red berries and delicate hints of white flowers. On the palate, it is vibrant and balanced, with subtle notes of grapefruit and juicy melon, complemented by a fine mineral edge that adds depth and precision. The finish is long and refreshing.
