All-digital console
This pro console is all-digital with no disc drive. Sign into your account for the online network and go to the store to buy and download games. You can also add a disc drive to your console if you would like to play games on Blu-ray Disc or watch movies and shows on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Discs, Blu-ray Discs, and DVDs. The compatible disc drive is sold separately.

The pro console can play over 8,500 previous-generation games. With the Game Boost feature, you can enjoy faster and smoother frame rates in some of the greatest games.

8K output
If you own an 8K television, you'll be pleased to learn that this console supports 8K output, so your eyes can feast on games playing on your 4320p resolution display.

HDR colours
Games can display a vibrant and lifelike range of colours, thanks to the console supporting HDR technology.

3D audio
Listening either through your headphones or TV speakers, 3D AudioTech will enable your surroundings to truly come alive in supported games. Soundscapes emit from every direction to help you immersive into the game's environment.

Wireless Controller
Retaining many familiar features, the wireless controller has been designed for a new generation. Dual actuators replace traditional rumble motors, adaptive triggers provide varying levels of force and tension, and sound effects can burst directly from the controller's integrated speaker - all to enable an immersive gaming experience.

Adaptive triggers

Chat away
Using either the controller's built-in microphone or by connecting a headset to the 3.5mm jack, you can easily chat with friends. You can even switch voice capture on and off with the dedicated mute button.
