Anna Schofield is a self-taught artist who creates her original oil paintings from her studio in Cotgrave. She loves travelling and documenting interesting parts of the world around her, seascapes, skies, harbours and mainly light. The places she visits live long in her memory until she is ready to bring them back to life. Texture is an integral part of her work and uses palette knives, fingers, various implements, and brushes to create diversity in her mark making. Texture, strong colour and light, create an uplifting and positive result.
