



These ASDA Classic Mushy Peas are made from dried peas and sodium carbonates stabiliser for easy home preparation without thawing. Simply boil from frozen for 30 minutes until tender and piping hot before serving to enjoy the full flavour.

Cooking Guidelines: Hob - From Frozen. Do not eat raw. Medium 28-30 mins. Remove required portion of peas from packaging and add to a saucepan. Cover the peas with boiling water, approx. 80ml of water per 60g of peas. Return to the boil and simmer covered until tender, stirring continuously to avoid sticking. For a mushier texture add a pinch of bicarbonate of soda.
