Description
xASDA Hydrocolloid Dressings can be used on cuts and grazes to reduce pain and aid healing. By maintaining a moist environment, the hydrocolloid pad works with the body to produce a protective cover over the wound. This prevents the formation of hard scabs and reduces pain and scarring.
The breathable, waterproof backing fixes with movement to protect wounds from water and germs. With a low allergy adhesive to minimise the risk of allergic reaction. Ideal for use on smaller cuts, grazes and burns once any bleeding has stopped.
Always wash hands before and after treating a wound. Gently clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin. Remove the dressing from the sterile pouch and apply over the wound, pressing down edges firmly.
In the unlikely event of skin irritation, discontinue use immediately. Do not use on infected or bleeding wounds or burns. If you have diabetes, or problems with circulation, ask your doctor or chiropodist before using.
Store in a cool dry place between 0°C and 40°C. Contains 5 plasters sized 45mm x 65mm.
