Oven cook - From Chilled: 190°C, 375°F, Fan 170°C, Gas 5. For best results remove from fridge and remove from packaging for up to 20 minutes prior to cooking. Remove all packaging. Preheat the oven. Place the lamb in a roasting tin and cover with foil. Place on middle shelf of the oven. Halfway through cook time remove foil and return to the oven for the remaining time. Medium: 25 minutes per 500g plus 25 minutes; Well done: 30 minutes per 500g plus 30 minutes.
Raw/undercooked meat may contain harmful bacteria that may cause food poisoning. Always wash hands, chopping boards and utensils after contact with raw meat. Check product is piping hot before serving. Do not reheat. For tenderness and succulence allow the lamb to rest, uncovered in a warm place for at least 5 minutes after cooking.
Keep refrigerated at -2°C to +4°C. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Do not exceed the use by date. This product has been specially sealed for freshness and tenderness. The meat returns to its natural colour within 2 to 3 minutes of opening. Suitable for freezing. Freeze before date mark and consume within 3 months. This product has been previously frozen under controlled conditions however it is still suitable for home freezing. Defrost in the fridge and once defrosted use the same day. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
