Oven cook - From Chilled: 140°C / 275°F / Fan 120°C / Gas 2 / 3-3 1/2 hrs. Remove packaging and preheat oven. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a frying pan over a high heat. Season meat and brown in frying pan. Place in a casserole dish. Add diced vegetables (carrots, celery, onion) to the frying pan and soften. Place into the casserole dish on top of beef. Add approximately 500ml stock or sauce and seasoning. Tightly cover with foil or lid and place in the oven. Cook. The meat should be tender when pierced with a meat fork. Once cooked transfer the cooking liquor into a clean saucepan and reduce to a glossy rich gravy, then pour back over the meat ready to serve.
Slow Cooker - From Chilled: 80-90°C / 8-10 hrs. Remove all packaging. Place meat and diced vegetables (carrots, celery, onion) into the slow cooker, cover with beef stock and place lid. Cook. The meat should be tender when pierced with a meat fork.
Keep refrigerated. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Do not exceed the use by date. Suitable for freezing. Freeze before date mark and consume within 3 months. Defrost in the fridge and use within 24 hours. Once defrosted, do not refreeze.
