The Bernardaud Aux Oiseaux Dessert Plate is a fine porcelain plate measuring 21cm in diameter. Its design is inspired by 16th-century curiosity cabinets, featuring ornate trees and jewel-tone birds based on Japanese prints. Use it to serve desserts or as an elegant display piece.
The design of the Bernardaud Aux Oiseaux collection is inspired by curiosity cabinets, or 'wonder rooms', of the 16th and 17th centuries.
The ornate stylised trees and jewel-tone birds - the eponymous aux oiseaux - are based on delicate Japanese prints, rendered onto the fine handmade porcelain of this dessert plate in the same region of Limoges, France, that has been home to the brand since its inception in 1863.
