Cooking guidelines: BigFish fillets are best cooked from frozen but can also be used defrosted. To defrost, leave the pouch overnight in the refrigerator.
TO MICROWAVE: From frozen: remove outer packaging, pierce a hole in the individual vacuum pack. Place on a microwaveable plate and cook in the centre of the turntable on full power for 2 ½ minutes and allow to stand for 1 minute before serving (instructions for 900W microwave). If defrosted: follow instructions as above except reduce the cooking time: 1 ½ minutes cook / stand 1 minute (900W microwave).
TO OVEN COOK: From frozen: remove all packaging and loosely wrap each fillet individually in lightly oiled foil to form a parcel. Place on a baking tray in a preheated oven at 180°C/Gas Mark 4 for 20 minutes. If defrosted: follow instructions as above except reduce the cooking time to 10-15 minutes.
TO POACH: From frozen: remove from outer box and place the frozen fillet(s) in their pouches in a pan of boiling water. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 16 minutes. If defrosted: follow instructions as above except reduce the cooking time to 10 minutes.
Check fish fillets are piping hot before serving.
