You just need to add 2 chicken breasts, diced, and a handful of sliced mushrooms for an authentic and delicious curry. Thai Green Curry is a light, spicy and fragrant dish that is native to Thailand. The secret to great Thai curries is the freshness and balance of Thai ingredients that are ground into paste. At Blue Dragon, we grind our paste in Thailand to capture all the rich flavours. The cardboard sleeves used for our Blue Dragon Meal Kits are 100% recyclable. The sachets are made from laminated film; this type of packaging is not yet recyclable, but we are working hard with our packaging suppliers to change this. We are signatories of the UK Plastic Pact and are committed to ensuring all of our packaging is 100% recyclable by 2025.
Preparation and Usage: Sizzle - Get your wok smoking hot and add a splash of oil, fry your meat until sealed. Reduce heat to medium, add the paste and stir through coating the meat and gently fry for 1 minute. Stir - Pour in the coconut milk and bring to boil, stirring until the paste dissolves. Don't worry if the coconut milk has separated or solidified, this is natural and will return to normal when heated and stirred. Simmer - Add the dry ingredients and vegetables then simmer for 10 minutes until cooked through. Serve with steamed rice and enjoy!
Feeling inspired? We love to personalise our Thai curries with these handy tips: Adjust your heat level by choosing how many of our dried chillies to add. Add a splash of water, 50ml, at the end of cooking for a more authentic Thai consistency. Add a teaspoon of palm or caster sugar & a dash of Fish sauce to finish with a balanced flavour. Add finely chopped red chillies or fresh coriander to dress the curry before serving. Cook for longer to separate the oils for an authentic look.
