Navarrico haricot beans are produced in Navarra, the garden of Northern Spain. Conservas Artesanas El Navarrico was established by Hercules Amalia and Jose Salcedo in 1960. Their children and grandchildren now run the business.
These are premium grade haricot beans have a sweet, creamy flavour and thin, tender skins. They are prepared with only water and a little salt - cooked in the same manner as the Spanish do at home. Healthy as well as delicious, they are high in dietary fibre, rich in protein and a good source of antioxidants.
