Amalio Valls set up Paiarrop in 1987 near Valencia, on Spain's Mediterranean coast. His family firm specialises in traditional, additive free products. The orchards of Valencia province produce fruit used in Paiarrop's conserves including their luscious quince paste.
Quince paste is the classic partner for Spanish cheeses, mostly famously Manchego cheese. Paiarrop Quince Paste is an excellent accompaniment to roast lamb and roast chicken.
