Tasting notes: With the exceptional weather of 2010 in the Bergerac region, the Merlot, which is the main grape variety in this Château Mautain, expresses its qualities particularly well. It offers a lovely ruby colour with shades of violet, and a fruity and persistent nose with delicious blackcurrant and blackberry jam aromas. Then, on the palate the wine is full and well-balanced, and reveals delicate notes of red berries.
