The vineyard of Château La Forchetière is located on the south bank of the Loire river, in the Nantes region. On these shelves and well oriented slopes, the Melon variety is particularly appealing and gives a bright fruity wine with subtle aromas. When served, this Muscadet should be tasted young with seafood, shellfish and fish.

Regional information: Val de Loire, in the southeast of Nantes, close to the lack of Grandlieu in the municipality of Corcoué-sur-Logne. Tasting notes: Château La Forchetière offers a lemon pale wine, with an intense floral bouquet with amylic and toasted fruit notes. In the mouth, it is initially smooth and pleasantly lively. Alcohol by volume: 11.5. Serving suggestions: When served, this Muscadet should be tasted young with seafood, shellfish and fish. Vinification details: Harvested when ripen, the grapes are protected from oxidation. Moderated pressing. Severe settling and cold stalling over the fine must deposit from the juices. Cool fermentation between 15 and 17°C. Ageing over lees with regular stirring.
