





The Daylesford Organic Gammon Joint is a premium meat product dry-cured in the traditional way from organic pigs raised outdoors in the UK. It is ideal for roasting and serving as a hearty main dish for family meals or festive occasions.

Storage: Keep refrigerated 0-5°C. Consume within the use by date. Once pack is opened use on the same day. Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within one month. Defrost fully before use. Do not re-freeze once defrosted.
Preparation and Usage: For perfectly cooked pork, remove all packaging, place the gammon in a large pan of water and bring to the boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30mins per 500g + 30mins or until the product is thoroughly cooked and juices run clear. For best results, once the product is cooked remove the strings and rind and discard. Transfer gammon to a baking tray, score fat and brush with honey before placing in a hot oven for 10 minutes. Leave to rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Wash hands, knives and surfaces thoroughly before and after preparing raw meat.
