Dominio Fournier is located in the heart of Ribera del Duero and with over sixty years of traditional winemaking. Dominio Fournier produces hand-crafted wines with power and intensity from stony vineyards embraced by the meandering river.
Winemaking, under the watchful eye of Marian Santamaria, is an artisan affair, with limited production, low yields, hand craftmanship and meticulous attention to detail, dedicated to producing elegant, structured and intense red wines which breathe the unique character of Ribera del Duero.

Vinification details: The grapes are hand harvested, with the bunches that are in perfect health and at the perfect stage of ripeness. Each plot is vinified separately in small tanks. The wine from each tank is drawn off into barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation to promote the integration of the wood into the wine, colour stabilisation and tannic astringency. The wines spend at least 12 months in 90% French oak and 10% American oak barrels, with the average age of the used barrels being 2-4 years.
