Preparation and Usage: How to prepare Hand baking: Use a sachet to make 1 large loaf. Bread machine: Follow your bread machine's instructions. This recipe makes 3-4 medium sized pizza bases. Ingredients: 500g strong white bread flour, 2.5ml (1/2 tsp.) salt, 2 x 5ml (2 tsp.) golden caster sugar, 7g Easy Bake Yeast, 325ml warm water. Method: Mix the flour, salt, sugar and yeast in a large bowl and mix together. Make a well in the centre of the mix and add the warm water. Mix until forming a dough then turn out onto a lightly floured work surface and knead for 5-10 minutes to a soft elastic dough. At this stage the dough should be soft and spring back when lightly touched. Flour the dough and cover with clingfilm and leave to rest for about 15 minutes. If you are not baking immediately leave the dough at this stage wrapped in clingfilm and place in the fridge until required. Divide the dough into 3 or 4 pieces depending on how many pizza bases you want to make. Take one piece at a time and roll the pizza out on a lightly floured surface. Ideally it should be 5mm thick. Leave at this stage for a further 15-30 minutes to rest. When ready to bake add your desired topping and bake in a preheated oven 200°C/Gas Mark 4. Baking time 7-8 minutes. Try making garlic pizza bases or garlic bread by adding a crushed clove of garlic to the dry flour mix. Shape and bake to your liking. Baking time: 7-8 minutes.
