xDescale, clean and protect your appliances with Ecozone's British made Multi-Purpose Appliance Descaler. It's specially formulated to clean and freshen by getting rid of stubborn limescale and other residues that have built up over time. That way, your machine can keep performing at its best and you can avoid expensive call out charges and repair bills. Our eco-friendly formula will leave your appliance free of any limescale, nasty odours and as good as new.
Kettles: Fill and Boil the kettle, pour in 100ml of appliance descaler and leave for 30 mins then empty and rinse. For heavily scaled kettles use double the amount of appliance descaler. Coffee Machines: Pour 100ml of the appliance descaler into the water tank. Run the machine as if you were making a coffee 3 times. Wait 30 minutes then empty the water tank and fill with fresh water. Using the fresh water run the machine as if you were making a coffee 3 or 4 times to flush out the coffee machine. Irons: Add 100ml of appliance descaler to 500ml of water. Add the solution and steam until empty. Refill the iron with fresh water and steam until empty. Washing Machines: Pour 200ml of the appliance descaler into the dispenser tray. Ensure the machine is empty then run a hot wash cycle (60 degrees) without pre-wash. Dishwashers: Ensure the dishwasher is empty. Pour 200ml of appliance descaler directly onto the floor of the dishwasher and run a hot wash (60 degrees). Shower heads: Add 100ml to 1L of warm water. Place the showerhead into the solution and leave for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes rinse the showerhead. Always check the manufacturers instructions prior to descaling.
