The wine is made by the Van Zeller family, steeped in the tradition of 14 generations of winemaking in the famous Portuguese Douro valley. Darkest Red is a blend of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão & Touriga Nacional grapes indigenous to Portugal.
