For our Cabernet Sauvignon, we turned to the Sonoma Country region that's most renowned for the grape, Alexander Valley. In the warm, sun-drenched days and cool, crisp nights, our Cabernet Sauvignon ripens slowly, developing its signature rich, complex character and classic fruit notes of blackberry, blueberry and plum.
The wine opens with aromas of fresh damp earth, cigar box and ripe plum, framed by hints of tea leaf and toasted oak. Juicy flavours of blackberry, black cherry, black currant and tea leaf culminate in a complex finish with soft, fine-grained tannins.
Frei Brothers established their vineyards in Sonoma Country over 125 years ago as part of the fabric of Sonoma Country's celebrated farming and winemaking culture. They craft acclaimed wines by selecting the right grapes grown in the right places within Sonoma Country's premier growing regions, allowing their winemakers to showcase the pure varietal character of each grape.
