The Peloponnese is the historical heavyweight of Greek viticulture, responsible for roughly 30% of the country's wine. This southern peninsula features diverse terrain, where high-altitude mountain plateaus balance the Mediterranean heat, preserving vital acidity in the grapes.
Bright and refreshing, this wine opens with aromas of lemon zest, grapefruit, and a touch of honeysuckle. The palate is dry and zestful with a distinct mineral backbone-typical of the variety-balanced by fruitier notes of tropical citrus and a clean, revitalizing finish.
Alcohol by volume: 12.5
The grapes are sourced from semi-mountainous calcareous soils in Koutsi, Nemea. The fruit is chilled to 4°C before being destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures (approx. 16-18°C) to maximise aromatic intensity. The wine sees no oak aging, ensuring the fresh, primary fruit characteristics and varietal purity remain the focus.
