xDesigned by Helle Damkjær for Georg Jensen, the Bloom Botanica candlesticks are shaped to mimic the moment a flower bud opens and the petals unfurl. They aim to bring a sense of optimism and delight to the home much like the early, bright days of spring after the harshness of winter.
As part of her design process Damkjær creates each of her products by hand in clay, giving her time to find the shapes she's looking for. This gives her pieces a sculptural quality which is complemented by the high shine of the stainless steel.
