Simplicity is perhaps the hardest form of sophistication, requiring clarity and purpose in every detail. This is what my team and I aimed to achieve with our take on this British classic: three layers crafted with our raspberry compote, a perfectly textured sponge, and a mascarpone crème, all finished with a sprinkle of biscuit crumbs.
