Safety Reminder: Discontinue swaddling when the baby shows signs of rolling over or breaking out of the swaddle wrap. To reduce risk of fabric accidentally covering baby's mouth or nose, swaddle must be appropriately sized, snug, positioned around baby's torso and securely fastened. Always place your baby on their back for sleep. And never place anything in the cot with your baby. No pillows, bumpers, toys or loose blankets.
How to swaddle: Every baby has different sleep preferences. The adjustable HALO SleepSack Swaddle provides 3 easy ways to swaddle to ensure your baby's best sleep and to help make the transition from swaddling easier. Below the three quick steps: Step 1: Dress baby in regular sleepwear and close the zipper. Step 2: Fold the left wing over baby's left arm and torso, tucking it under baby's right arm. If you wish to swaddle with just one arm in, fold the right wing over baby's torso, leaving the right arm free, and tuck the wing under the left arm. Step 3: Repeat by folding the right wing over baby's right arm and torso and tuck it under the left arm for a full wrapped swaddle. Swaddle wrap should be snug, below chin, and aligned with baby's shoulders.
How to care for your swaddle: Turn inside out and close zip before washing. Machine wash cold with like colours on gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.
