Created to be used with the revolutionary Velvetiser in-home chocolate system, this is the drinking chocolate that started it all. Delivering a deeply satisfying chocolate hit with rich and dark tones from West African cacao beans and just a hint of sugar.
For the perfect cup just add 35g - that's about 6 teaspoons - of Hotel Chocolat's real chocolate flakes to the Velvetiser pot. Then add the milk of your choice - dairy, nut or plant based - before you hit the button. No Velvetiser? You can make the Classic 70% Hot Chocolate on the hob but be careful not to boil as that destroys the intriguing top notes of the cacao.

Heat the milk in a saucepan over a medium heat, stirring gently with a whisk until hot but not boiling (you should see steam rising) 2. Remove from the hob and add the drinking chocolate to the milk . 3. Bring back to the hob on a medium heat and gently whisk until all the chocolate has melted.
