xHyde No.6 is a limited edition Irish whiskey release called the President's Reserve. It is named in honour of Ireland's first President, Douglas Hyde, inaugurated on 28th June 1938.
This whiskey is created from a blend of 18-year-old single malt and 8-year-old single grain, both aged in flame charred American Bourbon barrels. The blend is then finished for 9 months in vintage Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, making it a double wood whiskey.
