The Unexpected Blend: This gin is an out of the ordinary gin that brings out what we call the Hyogo style. In addition to the traditional botanicals used in London Dry gin production, it blends in 5 other Japanese botanicals carefully selected by distiller expert Kimio Yonezawa. To embody the Japanese soul of this unexpected gin, we also added a touch of distilled sake to the recipe.
Yuzu citrus fruit gives the gin a citrus hit, with fragrant tart grapefruit and juicy mandarin orange overtones. Sansho pepper adds a touch of very fragrant spice and a long finish to the gin. A touch of distilled Sake spirit adds a soft sweetness which gently wraps up and accompanies the 5 Japanese botanicals. Delicious in a classic G&T, garnished with grapefruit or yuzu.

Preparation and Usage: Gin & Tonic: 40ml gin, 80ml premium tonic water, pour into tall glass filled with ice, garnish with citrus zest. Longitude Line: 30ml gin, 10ml Akashi-Tai Umeshu, 10ml Hibiscus syrup, 15ml Fresh lime juice, 10ml Egg white or Aquafaba, shake all ingredients to emulsify, then add ice and shake again to chill, before straining into chilled cocktail glass, garnish with dried hibiscus flowers.
