Gin crafted with six Japanese botanicals. Made in tune with the best of every season of Japan. Each botanical is harvested at the peak of its ripeness.
Fruity floral notes of cherry blossom and green tea. Come alive with the seasons of Japan with every sip of Roku gin. In Japan, Roku means the number six, and each bottle is infused with six unique Japanese botanicals that ripen throughout the year.
The fresh and clean aroma of Roku gin flows into flavors of floral cherry blossom (sakura) and earthy sencha (green tea). The best way to serve is in a Roku Gin Fizz. Simply fill a tall glass with ice, then add 50ml ROKU gin, 15ml fresh lime juice and 10ml sugar syrup. Top with soda water and stir, then garnish with a lime wedge as the final touch to bring out the gin's unique herbal and citrus notes.
Roku gin celebrates all four seasons of Japan, and its botanicals are carefully harvested at the peak of their season-the shun. Sakura leaves and flowers are handpicked in spring, with Sencha and Gyokuro teas being plucked in summer. In fall it's time for the spicy Sansho pepper, and the zingy Yuzu fruit bursts into ripeness in winter. They are captured, distilled and blended harmoniously in each bottle so drinkers can experience a year in Japan with every sip.
Roku gin is a celebration of the bounty of nature and careful craftsmanship, drawing upon more than a century of distilling experience and expertise.
Tasting notes: The unparalleled soft, round and subtly sweet taste of Roku gin comes from its unique infusion of carefully sourced Japanese botanicals. Take a moment to breathe in the floral and sweet aroma of Sakura (cherry blossom) and Sencha (green tea) before taking your first sip. Each complex and multi-layered mouthful offers a harmonious blend of traditional gin flavors combined with distinct Japanese botanicals. The top note is sweet-sour yuzu, leading into a crisp finish with the distinctive spice of crisp Sansh pepper.
Roku is Japanese for the number six, and each bottle of Roku gin is infused with six special botanicals. Each one is sourced in Japan, at the peak of its season. With every sip of Roku you travel through the four seasons.
