Ideal for toasting milestones, Krug Grande Cuvée Champagne combines grapes from 2013 with extensive reserve wines for a dry, sleek finish. This luxury Champagne is cherished by UK enthusiasts for its consistent quality and heritage.
A vision of Joseph Krug, the House's Grande Cuvée represents the ultimate expression of Champagne, crafted to deliver excellence every year regardless of climate variations. Unlike most Champagnes, the reserve wines for each edition are selected first, the spring after harvest, before deciding whether to create a pure vintage or blend into a new Grande Cuvée.
The 169th edition combines grapes from 2013 with 146 reserve wines spanning 11 different years, resulting in a dry palate and a sleek, harmonious finish.
Since 1843, Krug has devoted itself exclusively to prestige Champagnes, remaining the only House to craft every cuvée in small oak casks. Across six generations, its alchemy has been perfected through extended malolactic fermentation and patient ageing - each blend released only after passing the most rigorous taste tests.
