Origin: This single olive variety extra virgin olive oil is made from 100% Spanish Picual Olives which have been grown, harvested and bottled in the Jaén region of southern Spain. With more than 60 Million Olive Trees, Jaén is recognised as the leading producer of olive oil in the world. Picual is the most cultivated olive variety in Spain. The name comes from the olive shape, which ends in a point. This variety is bitter and spicy with herbaceous notes.
