The softer, more porous Spanish oak casks encourage a higher degree of interaction between spirit and wood. Their open grain allows the whisky to travel deeper into the wood, drawing out rich, intense flavours and developing a naturally beautiful colour.
The One Whisky Collection highlights our maturation expertise, uniting The Lakes single malt with select Scotch grain and malt whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside, and Islay, each finished in fine oak casks.
