Savour this premium whisky neat or with a drop of water to release its complex flavours. The Laphroaig Archive 38-Year-Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in American ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. Hailing from the iconic Islay distillery, it represents a piece of British whisky heritage.
Laphroaig's Archive collection is an homage to the Islay distillery's commitment to forging its own path in pursuit of exceptional whiskies.
The second in a series of aged whiskies, the 38-year-old single malt scotch is matured in American ex-bourbon casks, followed by oloroso sherry hogshead and an oloroso sherry-seasoned European oak butt.
The resulting whisky is smooth and complex, with a palate of dried apricots, sultanas and creamy salted caramel.
The spiciness on the nose shines through on the palate with tasting notes of ginger, cloves and a touch of aniseed.
