Stir through gluten free pasta or mix into rice for instant meals. This vegan red pesto features sun-dried tomatoes and basil in every jar. Made in Emilia Romagna using traditional methods before being shipped from the UK.
Le Conserve della Nonna Red Pesto Sauce is a superior vegan sun-dried tomato pesto that remains faithful to its traditional recipe. There are no substitutions with inferior ingredients and there are no compromising ingredients you would not expect to see in a traditional basil pesto.
The sauce has the intense tomato flavour you would expect with a creaminess derived from the generous level of pine kernels. The pesto is made in the capital of gastronomy, the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, and only perfectly ripe, seasonal, high quality ingredients are selected using methods which respect the environment.
Traditional pine kernels used are seeds not nuts and the lactic acid is vegetable derived.
