It has a tough, non-stick surface inside and out, and a special hardened body to create a durable and long-lasting pan that can be used on any heat source. The easy-release non-stick interior and exterior surfaces are easy to clean and are tough enough to withstand the use of metal utensils.
Professional-style cast handles are attached with stainless steel rivets for a superior, secure fixing, and the addition of a helper handle makes lifting easier. Heat-resistant glass lids retain moisture and flavour and allow you to check the food you are cooking without disturbing the cooking process or temperature by lifting the lid.
Le Creuset Toughened Non-Stick Care: Read the appropriate instructions that will come with your item. Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the pan in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Condition the interior non-stick cooking surface (not external). Rub a film of vegetable, rapeseed or sunflower oil with kitchen paper towel. Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly. These oils are also best for cooking with.
Medium or low heat will provide the best results for cooking, including frying and searing.
Le Creuset Silicone tools or wooden/heat-resistant plastic tools are recommended.
For best results, use an appropriately sized ring for even cooking and to reduce risk of damage to product.
Never drag your product across a glass surface. Always lift to move to prevent damage.
Oven and grill safe up to 260°C, 220°C with a glass lid. Allow a minimum distance of 6.5cm when grilling.
