History: L Olivella was founded in 1986 by expert viticulturist Umberto Notarnicola and wine expert from Piedmont, Bruno Violo. The winery is young, dynamic with a focus on sustainable agricultural practices. Volcanic soils from the region are rich in desirable minerals which help vine development and contribute depth and complexity to the wines.
Grape variety: Grechetto, Malvasia. Current vintage: 2018. Regional information: Vineyards cultivated using the Guyot system by producing 8.000 kg of grapes per hectare on average, and a density of around 4.500 vine roots. Volcanic origin, rich in Potassium, Phosphorus and Magnesium. Hilly, well-exposed and ventilated.
