A fragrant and elegant red wine that shows why Fleurie is one of the most popular Crus, with aromas of ripe raspberry, cherry and subtle floral notes. Light to medium-bodied and silky on the palate, with soft tannins and a smooth, refined finish, enhanced by a touch of oak for added complexity.

Regional information: This wine comes from the famous cru of Fleurie. Situated in the Beaujolais, south of Mâcon, the soils in this region are well-suited to Gamay. The granitic soils here are very thin on top and are salmon pink in colour where the crystalline rock sub-soil reaches the surface.
Tasting notes: This wine is fruity and floral. It is mellow and elegant but also a little racy. With a silky texture and a structure of lovely finesse. Full, ripe red fruits are balanced by a supple freshness and acidity on the palate.
