Perfect for celebrations and special toasts, this Louis Roederer Cristal is a vintage Brut Champagne from the 2002 harvest. Aged for 20 years in the house cellars, it originates from the prestigious Champagne region of France.
Louis Roederer's Cristal has reached legendary status within the world of Champagne. Commissioned originally by Tsar Alexander II, the cuvée reflects the finest blend of the vintage - made from grapes grown on the very best vines - while the clear, flat-bottomed bottle assured the Tsar of his safety amidst fears of assassination.
The 2002 vintage has been aged for 20 years in the House's cellars, giving it a long, delicate finish similar to that of a white Burgundy.
Founded in 1776, Louis Roederer has spent seven generations perfecting crystal-like Champagne. From 250 hectares of Grand and Premier Cru vineyards to hand-harvesting and delicate pressing, every detail honours terroir and tradition, resulting in cuvées of silken texture and rare, exquisite balance.
