Luccicare Prosecco DOC Extra Dry. Luccicare is an Italian verb that means to sparkle, glitter, twinkle, or glisten, making this prosecco the perfect accompaniment to a special occasion.
When served chilled, its fresh, aromatic and velvety texture combines with a fruity bouquet reminiscent of Golden Delicious apples, with a hint of banana and peach. The sweetness can be balanced with bitter or tart ingredients in cocktails like an Aperol or Limoncello Spritz, or opt for something more modern such as a Sgroppino or Prosecco Margarita. It also works well in fruity cocktails like Bellinis, Mimosas and Rossinis.
It pairs perfectly with a variety of dishes, including antipasti, seafood, poultry and pasta. It works well with milder cheeses like brie or goat, or even some aged hard cheeses with a hint of sweetness, like Gouda. If you're serving it with snacks, popcorn, crisps or roasted nuts provide a delicious contrast of sweet and salty. You can use it as a dessert wine with fruit-based tarts, pastries, and fresh berries, or light and airy puddings such as cakes, meringues and panna cotta. Suitable for vegans.
