Preparation and Usage: Shopping List: Chilli Con Carne 1 White Onion, diced 1 x 400g Tinned Chopped Tomatoes 500g Beef Mince 75g Cheese, grated 1 x 400g Red Kidney Beans, drained Sour Cream and Coriander Leaves to garnish (optional) Cooking Instructions 1. Heat 1tbsp of oil in a saucepan on medium heat. Fry the onions for 5 minutes until golden brown. 2. Add the mince, breaking it up and cook for 5 minutes to brown it. 3. Add seasoning paste, cook for a further minute. 4. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and bring to the boil. Cover the pan and simmer for about 15 minutes on a low-medium heat, stirring occasionally. 5. Add the kidney beans and stir. Cover the pan and simmer for a further 5 minutes. Do not allow the sauce to boil and add a little water if needed. Top with grated cheese, and garnish with sour cream and coriander leaves, if desired. Why not try... replacing the mince with mixed beans or chopped vegetables.
