Recipes: Rich Chocolate Brownies Makes 9 Serve warm with your favourite ice cream. 1 Box Chocolate Brownie Mix 100g Melted Unsalted Butter 90ml Cold Water 7 Square or Round Lined Cake Tin Oven 180°C / Fan 160°C / Gas Mark 4 1. Preheat oven. 2. Microwave the melted butter and chocolate chunks in a non-metallic bowl for 2 minutes on medium power. Mix until combined. 3. Add both the sugar and egg mix packets to a separate bowl. 4. Add water to the egg mix and whisk the egg mix for 3-4 min, with an electric whisk. 5. Add the chocolate and butter mix to the whisked sugar and egg mix and fold through. 6. Add the flour and cocoa mix sachet to the mixture and gently fold through until combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 30-35 mins. 7. The brownies should be slightly springy on the outside but still soft in the middle. 8. Leave to cool completely before cutting into 9 squares.
