For Best Before End, see side of pack. Store in a cool, dry place. Not suitable for freezing. Wrap any unused marzipan in polythene or foil to prevent it drying out. Do not refrigerate.
Knead marzipan until pliable and roll out to a thickness of approx. 5mm (quarter inch) on a clean, dry surface lightly dusted with icing sugar. Brush cake with cool boiled apricot jam and cover cake with marzipan. Lift the marzipan using your rolling pin as support and drape over cake. Smooth into position using the palm of your hand, working from centre to edge and down the sides. Trim away any excess marzipan using a sharp knife. This pack covers the top and sides of a 15cm (6) round cake.
