Recipe Suggestion: Southern Fried Chicken - Serves 4. You Will Need: 500g chicken thigh fillets, flattened, 284ml pot buttermilk, 6 tsp Southern fried seasoning mixed with 120g plain flour and 6 tbsp vegetable oil. Method: 1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for 30 mins. 2. Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mix, dip back in the buttermilk & coat in flour again. 3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan & cook the chicken for approx. 10-12 mins turning halfway through. Check that product is thoroughly cooked before serving.
