The Carignan grape produces an extraordinary, elegant red with velvety tannins and fragrant notes of crisp red berry and black pepper, along with hints of pine resin.
Made on the windswept shores of Sardinia, this opens with enticing scents of Mediterranean scrub, blue flower, pine forest and wild berry. On the smooth, enveloping palate, polished tannins accompany ripe black plum, Morello cherry, star anise and crushed mint. Drink through 2024.
