Savor this exclusive whisky as a prized addition to any collection or for special occasions. The Midleton 47-Year-Old Very Rare Chapter Three is a single pot still Irish whisky from the Silent Distillery Collection, originating from the historic Midleton distillery in Cork, Ireland.
The Midleton Very Rare Silent Distillery Collection is just that - the whisky is made up of some of the last surviving casks distilled in the direct-fired pot stills at its distillery in Cork, Ireland.
Chapter Three in the collection is a single pot still Irish whisky taken from two casks - one being an ex-sherry butt, the other an ex-bourbon barrel - both of which were distilled in 1973.
With only 97 bottles having ever been produced, it's treated like the precious drop it is by being housed in an individually numbered Waterford crystal decanter, hidden inside a burr elm cabinet.
