A quintessential Provence Rosé from the infamous Château Miraval, which is located in the Provence village of Correns, the first 100% organic village in France.
A dry, pale pink rosé with strawberry, white pear and floral aromas. Lifted by summer berry, wild herb and tangy tangerine flavours. Serve lightly chilled as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to Provençal style dishes, particularly fish, vegetables and salads.
Contains Sulphur Dioxide / Sulphites.
Grape variety: Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle, Shiraz/Syrah.
Tasting notes: The wine has a beautiful pale, petal-pink colour, with bright nuances. On the nose, it exudes aromas of fresh redcurrants, rose and zesty lemon. It finishes with a refreshing acidity, minerality and a long, saline finish.
Alcohol by volume: 12.5%.
Vinification details: Miraval Provence Rosé is made from grapes picked early in the morning to preserve freshness. After being carefully sorted, the grapes are gently pressed, with Cinsault, Grenache, and Rolle undergoing direct pressing, while Syrah is partly vinified using the 'saignée' method, which adds depth. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats (95%) and a small portion in barrels (5%) for added complexity, with regular stirring (batonnage) to enhance texture.
